About Thisavi
Hi, I’m Thisavi
I love helping students feel confident and enjoy learning! Everyone learns differently, so I make my lessons fun, relaxed, and tailored to each student’s pace. I focus on building confidence first, then work on skills like math and English step by step, with plenty of practice and encouragement along the way.
I tutor primary school and VCE students, mainly in Math and English, and I make sure lessons match what they’re learning at school. Lessons are usually 60 minutes — enough time to revise, learn new things, and practice without feeling rushed.
My goal is to make learning less stressful, more enjoyable, and to help students feel proud of their progress.

Hi, I’m Thisavi, and I offer supportive, engaging tutoring tailored to each student’s needs. My approach focuses on building confidence first, then strengthening understanding through clear explanations, step-by-step guidance, and plenty of positive encouragement.
I use a mix of structured practice, interactive activities, and real-world examples to make learning feel manageable and enjoyable. Lessons are always aligned with the Victorian Curriculum, and I adjust my teaching pace to suit each student’s learning style. I especially support students who may feel anxious or lack confidence, helping them feel comfortable asking questions and having a go.
Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, allowing time for revision, new content, guided practice, and confidence-boosting feedback. I tutor primary school students and VCE students, particularly in Maths (including General Maths) and English.
I was Dux of Maths and English at my school and have leadership experience as a School Captain, which has strengthened my communication, organisation, and mentoring skills. I am patient, encouraging, and genuinely enjoy helping students grow in both ability and confidence.
My goal is to help students improve academically while also developing a positive mindset toward learning.
