About Pavithra
Subjects Offered
Edexcel IGCSE (9-1): Physics, Chemistry, Biology
Cambridge IGCSE / O-Level: Physics, Chemistry, Biology
Lower Secondary Science (Grades 6–8): Foundations for IGCSE
My Teaching Methodology
Concept Breakdown & Visuals: I simplify tricky topics (like organic chemistry mechanisms, electrical circuits, or human physiology) using digital whiteboards, diagrams, and real-world applications.
Mark Scheme Mastery: Edexcel exams require very specific keywords. I train students on how examiner mark schemes work so they don't lose unnecessary marks on exam day.
Topical Past Paper Practice: After completing every topic, we practise official past paper questions together to build speed, accuracy, and confidence.
Customised Progress Tracking: I provide homework sheets, topical revision notes, and continuous assessments for every lesson.
Why Work With Me?
Proven Track Record: Experienced in identifying weak areas early and building personalised improvement plans.
Flexible Online Setup: Interactive lessons via Zoom/Google Meet with shared whiteboards and structured presentation slides.
Free Trial Session: I offer a complimentary 20–30 minute trial class so parents and students can evaluate my teaching style with zero risk.

I am a professional International School Science Educator with over 4 years of dedicated experience teaching Pearson Edexcel and Cambridge IGCSE Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Currently working as a full-time secondary science teacher at a premier international school in Sri Lanka, I specialise in helping students break down complex scientific concepts, master mark schemes, and transition from grade gaps to top marks (A/A*).
Whether your child needs help catching up on difficult theory or requires structured past-paper revision leading up to exam season, I provide tailored, step-by-step online coaching.
