About Rakhi
I am a senior Mathematics teacher with more than 15 years of experience in school teaching and private tutoring. I specialise in GCSE and A-Level Mathematics (Edexcel, AQA, OCR) and have helped hundreds of students improve their understanding and exam results.
With a patient and encouraging approach, I focus on building strong conceptual foundations and exam techniques.
I enjoy helping students of all abilities — from those who find Maths challenging to those aiming for top grades.
I offer both online mode of teaching and I am passionate about making Mathematics accessible and enjoyable for every student.

My lessons are fully personalised to each student's current level, learning style, and specific goals. With over 15 years of experience as a senior Mathematics teacher, I focus on building a strong conceptual understanding rather than just memorising formulas. I make complex topics simple, clear, and interesting using real-life examples, visual explanations, and step-by-step problem-solving.
A typical lesson includes:
A quick review of previous topics or homework to reinforce learning
Clear, patient explanation of new concepts with plenty of examples
Guided practice with carefully chosen questions
Exam-style practice (past papers from Edexcel, AQA, OCR etc.)
Feedback and strategies to avoid common mistakes

I specialise in helping students at KS3, GCSE (Foundation & Higher) and A-Level Mathematics. Whether your child is struggling with basics and needs confidence building, preparing for exams, or aiming for top grades (Grade 7-9 / A-A*), my lessons are designed to deliver real improvement.
I teach in a calm, encouraging, and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes while learning. Many of my students have shown significant grade improvements and developed a genuine liking for Maths.
