About Alene
I am a postgraduate music student studying under Minette du Toit-Pearce at the Stellenbosch University Department of Music. I am currently completing my Honours degree specialising in solo vocal performance. I have been giving singing lessons since 2018 and actively take part in opera productions and solo recitals.

I help singers from beginner to intermediate levels to develop a good technical foundation. This involves proper breathing and posture. I also guide singers to uncover the beauty and potential of their voices by prioritising legato singing and good vowel placement. By using a holistic and student-centered approach, I encourage my students to develop their own unique artistic interpretations.
