About Thamila
Dedicated Lecturer at London South Bank University, mainly teaching analytics and statistics related subjects. I am a native French speaker and have studied mathematics at degree level and teach it to both undergraduate and masters students. I am also passionate about tutoring students across a range of subjects and capacities (GCSE and Higher). Highlights of my qualifications include: • Utilising engaging, hands-on educational methods to facilitate a fun, personalised approach to learning while stimulating students’ enjoyment and appreciation for the subjects. • Building and sustaining strong student and parent relationships, encouraging queries, comments, and concerns and adapting my tutoring style to each student’s unique needs. • Possessing 2 years of previous tutoring experience as self-employed, coaching students in the areas of Maths and French. My aim in teaching is to create a situation where students become enthusiastic about understanding the subject matter themselves and consequently deeply integrate new content and frames of meaning into their way of thinking.
