About Vanessa
I am a Physics tutor with 6 years of experience and a BSc in Applied Physics. I have taught approximately 210 students from GCSE through to early undergraduate Physics. My lessons cover classical mechanics, electromagnetism, waves, thermodynamics, quantum physics, and nuclear physics with equal depth and clarity. I make Physics logically clear and mathematically manageable through systematic problem-solving and strong physical intuition. My approach is patient, thorough, and adapted to each student's level and examination requirements. My Physics lessons develop both physical intuition and mathematical problem-solving ability simultaneously in every session. Every lesson begins with a review of key concepts and previously attempted problems to identify and address remaining confusion. Mechanics sessions cover forces, motion, energy, momentum, and circular motion with both clear conceptual explanation and rigorous mathematical treatment. Electromagnetism develops field theory, circuit analysis, magnetic fields, and electromagnetic induction through worked examples and real physical applications. Thermodynamics covers gas laws, heat transfer, and internal energy through real physical scenarios. Quantum physics is introduced carefully with strong experimental grounding before mathematical formalism. I use real past examination questions throughout every lesson so students build examination technique naturally alongside subject knowledge. I coach students specifically on the calculation structure, unit analysis, and significant figure conventions required for full marks. Structured notes and a targeted problem set are provided after every session. My goal is for every student to approach Physics examinations with genuine conceptual confidence and reliable mathematical method.
