About Sofia
I’ve been tutoring Physics for more than 4 years, and I hold a Master’s degree in Applied Physics. My specialty is guiding students through the tricky but fascinating world of waves and optics. Light, sound, and electromagnetic waves often seem intimidating, but with the right approach, they become surprisingly clear. I enjoy making ray tracing, diffraction, and interference accessible through step-by-step explanations and visual tools. Many of my students have gone from confusion to genuine excitement when they finally see how these ideas connect. That moment of clarity is one of the best parts of teaching. Beyond core Physics, I’ve worked with students exploring photonics, telecommunications, and imaging sciences. Whether it’s designing an optical system or understanding how signals travel, I make sure students can connect equations to real-world applications. I believe Physics should never feel distant or dry. My approach uses everyday analogies, interactive models, and simulations to make each lesson engaging.
