About Manisha
I'm an engineer. I studied electronics and instrumentation engineering, then spent six years building software — mostly backend systems and chatbots for large clients — before moving to Dublin to complete an MSc in Data Analytics at National College of Ireland.
Math has never been an abstract subject for me. It's what I use when I'm working out why a system is slow, or whether a result actually means anything. I think that's why I enjoy tutoring it: I can usually answer "when would I ever use this?" with something real rather than a shrug.
A lot of my working life has been spent explaining technical things to people who don't yet understand them. I mentored junior engineers for years, and the students who improved fastest were never the ones who nodded along — they were the ones who felt comfortable saying "wait, go back." I try hard to be the kind of tutor you can say that to.
I'm reliable about timekeeping, I turn up prepared, and if you send me a topic in advance I'll have worked through it before the lesson. If I don't think I'm the right person to help with something, I'll say so.

I studied electronics engineering and I'm finishing an MSc in Data Analytics, alongside six years working as a software engineer. I've used this math daily for years — that's the difference between knowing a method and knowing why it works.
Lessons run an hour, one-to-one, either in Dublin or online. I start with a question you're stuck on rather than a lecture, because "I don't get algebra" usually turns out to be one specific step that went wrong. From there we build up: I explain the idea, work an example, then hand you a similar one and stay quiet while you try it. You learn more from the attempt than from watching me.
For Junior and Leaving Cert students, Higher or Ordinary Level, I mix topic revision with exam technique — marking schemes reward particular things, and students lose marks they've already earned by not showing the work. For college students, I cover calculus, linear algebra, probability and statistics, including the stats modules on business and computing courses, and R or Python if that's part of your coursework.
Happy to focus on one weak topic, prepare you for a repeat exam, or work through the full course across the year.
