About Vasiliki

Hi! I'm a Greek teacher, specialising in teaching kids and adults Modern Greek (A1-C2), Ancient Greek and Latin.

I hold a BA in Greek Linguistics from the University of Athens and have been teaching for more than 10 years now.

I specialise in Greek as a foreign language but also in Greek as a second language, for second generation Greek kids and adults.

About the lesson

My style of teaching is based on the idea that to learn Greek, you need to sort of become a Greek yourself. Greek people love life and having fun, and my classes aim to be fun, interactive and to make you remember why learning a new language is exciting.

Expect not only grammar and syntax rules, but also plenty of historical and lifestyle resources that will accompany your learning journey.

We had the pleasure of taking Greek lessons with Vasiliki, and we couldn’t recommend her more highly. She is warm, funny and genuinely enthusiastic, making every lesson both enjoyable and engaging. Her multilingual background helps her explain things clearly from different perspectives, while her Greek roots bring the language and culture vividly to life.

Vasiliki is honest, flexible and wonderfully encouraging. She creates a relaxed atmosphere in which you feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Learning Greek with her has been a truly positive experience, and we would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent and inspiring teacher!

I am a 2nd-generation Greek, and Vasiliki has helped me improve my reading and speaking skills so that now Greek feels the way my native language should feel.

She also teaches Greek from zero to my partner, and she always finds ways to make the lessons feel like a fun activity.

I couldn’t recommend her more!
