Speak Russian on the first class with a professional linguist and an educator

Alexandra is the coolest teacher I`ve ever had! The most important thing I’ve noticed during our meetings is that Sasha can find an approach to make a process of studying a lot easier for you. That includes discussion of interesting topics and homework based around them. And that’s really cool, entertaining, and, most importantly, useful for improving your speaking, writing, and understanding skills! Alexandra uses her own methods of teaching - much more effective than you’ve been given anywhere else! 10/10

Alexandra is a very structured and pedagogical teacher. She uses effective pedagogical tools for teaching and explains grammatical rules very well. Most of our meetings have been online using Zoom, which has worked well. Lessons vary between reading and pronunciation to working with exercises and writing short stories and sentences. Alexandra constantly monitors my progress and lists together with me my strengths and weaknesses in the language.
During class we also discuss everyday life, recent events, what’s new and sometimes discuss the weather. This is funny and usually ends up with learning new phrases and words. It helps a lot and improves my ability to speak more fluently.
Even though we use a textbook we have also used a lot of other sources. Alexandra gives me texts, videos and other Russian material to read and discuss. This helps to understand Russian culture.
I enjoy learning Russian from Alexandra a lot! I have previously taken classes at night school, but they were not nearly as fun as the lessons with Alexandra.

Finally, I know the ways to handle the Russian Grammar. I had difficulties to understand and connect the dots for several years. Alexandra shared some easy tools that helped me to get over the language barrier and speak easier over couple of months.
I like that we have checklist to follow every class as well. Fun classes with a professional touch!

SO far we had classes for 3 months. I can hold a decent conversation with a native speaker! I'm greatful to the result i got. I definitely plan to continue our classes to get to another level.
