I believe Science is best learned when students can both see and actively experience what they are learning. I combine visual resources, hands-on activities, and active learning strategies to make Science engaging, meaningful, and memorable.
I am a currently practicing Science teacher specialising in Biology, with experience teaching Biology and Chemistry across Cambridge, IB, and NCEA curricula. I can support students from Years 9–13, as well as those preparing for pre-university courses and assessments.
My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, whether they require support with understanding key concepts, preparing for assessments, developing exam techniques, or building confidence in Science.
For younger adolescents, I can also design customised hybrid Science lessons that combine visual learning, practical activities, demonstrations, and inquiry-based learning to spark curiosity and develop a genuine interest in Science.
My goal is to help students move beyond memorisation by developing a strong understanding of scientific concepts and the confidence to apply their knowledge independently.
