About Jessica
I am a postgraduate researcher in Genomic Medicine with a strong background in molecular biology, biotechnology, and genetics. My academic work includes peer-reviewed publications, competitive research grants, and a prize for excellence in scientific research, all of which reflect my commitment to high-quality science. Through these experiences, I have developed a clear and structured approach to explaining complex biological concepts in a way that students can understand and apply. I enjoy helping learners build confidence in Biology and supporting them in achieving excellent academic results. Teaching allows me to share the scientific reasoning, problem-solving skills, and study techniques that have shaped my own training, and I take pride in guiding students at GCSE, A-Level, and university level to reach their full potential.

My lessons are designed to make complex biological concepts clear and intuitive. Sessions are typically 60 minutes and include concept breakdowns, exam-style questions, molecular diagrams, and real examples from genetics and biotechnology. As a postgraduate researcher in Genomic Medicine with a Bachelor's in Biotechnology Engineering and a major in molecular biology, bioinformatics, and scientific communication, I tailor each lesson to the student’s level—GCSE, A-Level, or university. My goal is to build strong scientific reasoning, improve exam confidence, and help students truly understand how biology works, from cells and genes to systems and molecular pathways.
