About Casey
Hi, I’m Casey—a biotech professional specializing in molecular biology, with a strong background in both teaching and scientific mentorship.
I currently work in the biotech industry, where I apply advanced biological concepts and analytical techniques on a daily basis. This real-world experience allows me to go beyond textbook explanations and help students truly understand how science works in practice.
My teaching experience includes working in a teaching lab, where I instructed students in grades 6–12 in molecular biology concepts and laboratory techniques. I now mentor junior scientists in a professional setting, guiding them through experimental design, data analysis, and problem-solving. Through this, I’ve developed a strong ability to explain complex material clearly and adapt to different learning styles.
I work best with motivated students who want to move beyond memorization and build a deeper, more intuitive understanding of biology and chemistry. I specialize in breaking down complex scientific concepts—especially in biology and biotechnology—into simple, intuitive ideas that actually make sense. I don’t focus on memorization alone; I help you understand the why behind what you’re learning so you can apply it confidently.
I adapt my teaching style to each student’s needs, whether you prefer step-by-step explanations, visual examples, or working through problems together.
A typical session is structured but flexible:

I bring real biotech industry experience into every lesson, helping students connect what they’re learning to how it’s actually used in the real world. My background includes teaching in a lab setting with students from middle school through high school, as well as mentoring junior scientists in my current role, which has strengthened my ability to support a wide range of learning styles and levels. I specialize in simplifying complex topics—especially molecular biology, lab techniques, and data analysis—into clear, approachable concepts. Above all, I focus on building confidence so students truly understand the material, not just complete assignments.
