About Amber
I’m a student who has recently achieved straight A*s and As, and I know exactly what it feels like to be on the other side of exams. Because I’ve just gone through it myself, I can share the tips and tricks that actually make a difference in picking up marks. I make sure to adapt my pace and style depending on the student’s needs, whether that means slowing down to revisit the basics or pushing further with exam-style questions. I also highlight key mark scheme language and share proven strategies that helped me achieve top grades, so students not only learn the content but also understand how to secure marks effectively. Alongside clear teaching, I share subject-specific techniques and exam strategies that I used to secure top marks. In biology especially, I focus on areas that make the difference for top grades, such as practicing mark scheme vocabulary and using intentional active recall. This helps students not only understand the content but also apply it effectively in assessments.
