About ALEXAH

Hello! I’m Alexah Joy Policher Gallano, and I’m a Licensed Professional Teacher with over 10 years of experience in education, business, and training. I’ve worked as a part-time faculty member teaching biology at the University of Immaculate Conception and as a business solutions officer, where I’ve trained teachers and students in various learning tools. My journey in both education and professional development has taught me that the most powerful tool for learning—and for life—is language. That’s why I’m passionate about teaching English, especially reading. Reading is the foundation of learning. I love helping students not just read words, but understand and enjoy them. Whether you’re learning to build vocabulary, improve comprehension, or gain confidence speaking, I tailor each lesson to your pace and needs. I want my students to feel encouraged, supported, and inspired. I teach because I believe every student has the potential to grow. My goal is to guide you through that journey, one word at a time.

About the lesson

Learning English, especially reading, can be challenging, but with the right support, it becomes a rewarding journey. In my private tutoring sessions, I take a personalized approach tailored to your pace, strengths, and areas for improvement. Whether you're just starting or looking to enhance your comprehension, vocabulary, or fluency, I create a learning environment that is supportive, patient, and goal-oriented.

With my background in education and strong communication skills, I focus on helping you build confidence in reading through engaging materials, interactive exercises, and techniques that fit your learning style. Every student is unique, and that's why I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all lessons. I will meet you where you are—and help you grow from there.

Together, we’ll turn reading into a skill you enjoy and feel proud of. Your success is my priority.
