About Fatoumata
I’m a highly motivated and dedicated high school student with a 4.0 GPA and a passion for learning and teaching. I have a strong academic foundation in Math, Science, ELA and History, and I enjoy helping others understand complex concepts through clear explanations, analogies, and visual aids. Teaching is more than a skill for me, it’s a passion, and I love seeing students grow in confidence and succeed. I’m patient, professional, and an excellent communicator, and I approach tutoring with energy, optimism, and a “never say never” attitude.
Outside of school, I’m pursuing pre-med and am deeply interested in supporting marginalized communities and helping others grow. I’m a creative person who enjoys artsy projects like crocheting and drawing, and I’m also a big music fan. I focus on self-improvement, reflection, and reading self-help books, always aiming to grow and encourage those around me to aim high as well.
I bring leadership experience as a big sister, a student ambassador, and a teen activist, which has helped me develop responsibility, organization, and advocacy skills. I genuinely enjoy helping others, whether it’s tutoring, mentoring, or simply offering support, and I approach every challenge with positivity, hard work, and a drive to inspire and uplift those around me.
