About Douglas
In the period of a year and a half (2016 and 2017) I gave classes to students of the higher education of Chemical Engineering of the disciplines of Heat Transfer, Chemical Thermodynamics, Calculation of Reactors, Unit Operations and Simulation and Process Optimization. I also taught Chemistry and English for high school students in a community project in conjunction with the university in which I study.

Academic of Chemical Engineering (attending the last semester). Of the disciplines that I propose to teach, for High School: Mathematics, Physics (Thermodynamics) and Chemistry. For the Higher Course: Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics, Reactor Calculation, Unit Operations and Process Simulation. When it comes to exact sciences, much of the students' difficulty lies in the abstractivity of concepts. So I try to use examples that are closer to everyday life and easy to assimilate. My idea is to explain what the mathematical equations are for the student to understand which equation to use in each case. Without making deductions (unless necessary), my goal is for the person to understand the reasoning necessary for problem solving. I explain theoretical concepts, solve exercises together and propose others so that the student tries to develop the reasoning for himself.
