About Reid
I am a passionate Biology tutor with over 2 years of experience and a MSc in Environmental Biology. My academic training has led me to focus strongly on pharmacology and drug action. I enjoy helping students understand how medicines interact with living systems.
In my lessons, I explain drug mechanisms and the molecular interactions that influence biological processes. These ideas form the foundation of pharmacology.
Students also study pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics. They learn how drugs are absorbed, distributed, metabolised, and eliminated. These processes explain how treatments work.
To make lessons engaging, I use real drug development case studies. These examples highlight the journey from laboratory research to medical treatment.
Learning through real scientific stories helps students understand complex concepts. It also shows the importance of biology in healthcare.
My goal is to help students build confidence in pharmacology. Together we can explore biology and discover the science behind modern medicine.

My teaching approach in Biology focuses on practical understanding of the human body. I believe students learn best when they can clearly see how biological systems work. Each lesson builds knowledge step by step.
