I am joining a Master 1 at Sciences Po Grenoble and am quasi-bilingual in English. English is one of my numerous passions : I tend to watch as many movies and as many series as I can in English, I am keen on listening to the English news (BBC...), and I love talking to my British friends and my American family. Alongside the courses I had the chance to attend, all these activities were the ones that really helped me develop my English level. The learning of this language has to be both serious and playful to be optimal (and I know something about it, that's how I became quasi-bilingual).
This is why I will suggest watching a series or movies to my students aside from the courses. During the lessons, we will focus on homework first, then writing (grammar, vocabulary) and oral practice. The lessons will vary from written and oral comprehension to written and oral expression, depending on the demand and needs (homework...) of my students.
I can easily adapt to all my students while remaining demanding. I know my passion will help a lot to pass on all that I have learned to my students.
