About Rym
Hey! I am a Franco-Lebanese-Algerian 3rd year student at Sciences Po Paris, in an exchange program with University of California, Berkeley. English has been my academic language for two years now, and I've gotten so used to writing long papers and essays at Sciences Po and UC Berkeley that I'm almost more at ease in English than in French now, both orally and in writing. During my second year at Sciences Po, I took the IELTS test for my exchange year, I took courses in "Significant topics in Sociology: Gender"", "Thinking International Relations Globally", "Microeconomics", "Public Policy", "Calculus III" and "Lebanon between war, liberation and political reform". This year at UCB, I am taking classes in "Economy and Society","Social Inequalities: American cultures", "Chinese economy" and "Slavery and African American History". Hence, dense courses with readings, essays and research research papers in English. Having passed the scientific baccalaureate with specialization in mathematics (high honors), a bachelor in social sciences with specialization in "Economics and Societies", and an exchange program in the American system, my course is multidisciplinary and I am used to adapting to various methods, disciplines, examination procedures and different languages and academic systems. I have previously given private lessons, and I am very enthusiastic about giving English lessons for all levels.
