About Laura
I am a student who studied languages in high school and I plan to graduate in architecture. In the past years I have reached an advanced level of knowledge of the English language by traveling a lot and attending individually private lessons. I obtained the FIRST Cambridge (B2) language certification diploma in June 2018, subsequently I have further expanded and improved my knowledge of the language and culture through study and individual practices and experiences abroad. I have no experience in giving tutoring yet but during high school I have helped many people with the English language to improve their oral and written comprehension and production. I am extensively trained to help elementary and middle school students improve their language level and carry out homework and exercises. The English language and culture are among my passions and I would be happy to convey my enthusiasm to the students, also for them to gain more self-confidence in practicing the language at school.

My approach to the subject is free, it is mainly based on the practice of the language through conversation and oral production to improve the accent and automatically expand the knowledge of the vocabulary, from experience I can say that after a certain amount of time spent making conversation in a way constructive and functional, it is possible to put into practice the grammatical and phonetic rules of the language in an autonomous and natural way, even in written production. I also focus on the study of grammar rules and on the technique for an impeccable oral and written comprehension, on how to identify the fundamental peculiarities and train the eye and ear to get used to the language in question.
