About Audrey

I am a freelance musician and performer with a love for French, writing, and early childhood education. I currently work Full-Time at Eastern Kentucky University, but am accepting new students on a limited schedule.
I have a Master's in Vocal Performance from the University of Denver, as well as a Bachelor's in the same field of study. I have been singing since I was 7 years old, began studying opera when I was 17, and have been teaching voice since 2018. I have studied at prestigious programs in Cornwall, England, and Sicily. I read music proficiently, and play piano just well enough to warm up my students/provide a melody. I hope to be teaching music in a public school setting in the next five years.

About the lesson

-I assess your needs as a student and meet you where you are at. If you want lessons for fun, long term, or if you are preparing for an audition. -We stretch, vocalize and warm up our voices. -I encourage music literacy and exposure. -We sing repertoire either chosen by you or me. -Lessons are mainly for high schoolers, middle schoolers, or adult beginners. Not opposed to more advanced individuals.

Audrey is amazing! I had no vocal or musical experience AT ALL. she has made it possible for me to not only hear the notes but to be able to teach me appoggio while singing. She has helped me so so much within a few short lessons! I can’t wait to see how far she takes me. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AUDREY! She is the best and genuinely loves her students.
