About ISHA
I have a strong passion for STEM subjects and love teaching students about science. I genuinely want others to understand why science is so fun and important. My aim is to inspire students to learn more about the world around us and become excited about their studies.
Currently, studying a Chemistry degree at the University of Leeds, therefore gives me up-to-date knowledge of current teaching methods and exam strategies. Having worked in hospitality since I was 16, I have developed strong communication and interpersonal skills, knowing how to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students can connect with me and voice their concerns easily.
I believe mistakes are crucial for learning, offering growth and understanding opportunities. I encourage students to embrace mistakes as stepping stones to success, building resilience and confidence to reach their full potential.

Tutoring Approach: I focus on active recall to store content in long-term memory, using flashcards, whiteboards, diagrams, and mini quizzes. I emphasize learning from mistakes to fully grasp concepts.
Lesson Length: Typical lessons are one hour, but I can tailor to meet individual needs.
Qualifications/Experience: Pursuing a Chemistry degree at Leeds University and have A Levels in Chemistry, Biology, and Geography. My constant involvement with the education system, including helping my younger brother in secondary school, keeps me up-to-date with current teaching methods.
