About Nyla
As a former International Baccalaureate (IB) student now pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Immunology and Microbiology at McGill University, I understand firsthand the dedication required to excel in advanced biological sciences. My approach isn't about rote memorization; it is about building intuitive, visual mental models and training your brain to recall them under exam pressure.
I utilize visual mind mapping to help students not only understand but visualize complex pathways and cascades. I focus on active recall to help students model exam conditions. For example, utilizing whiteboards, brain dumps, and quick-fire questions. I help students customize their answers to the IB questions by recognizing and mastering command terms and studying answers to past papers.
