About Dimitar

Dimitar is a friendly and experienced teacher who first started teaching the guitar while he was doing his classical guitar master's degree at the conservatory of Lausanne, Switzerland. He now has over 15 years of teaching experience and over 10 years in a renowned private music school in north London. He started playing the guitar when he was six years old. His biggest success as a teacher - in October 2022 one of his students competed with more than 1000 children for only 14 places to enter a grammar school with music in London. She succeeded! While teaching classical guitar is his primary domain, he is also a songwriter, producer and sound engineer, so he can help you with these things if you have interest in them. With more than 300 songs in his repertoire, Dimitar is also passionate about singing songs with the guitar and he'll be more than happy to help you with that too. He has abilities to teach all ages and levels from children as young as 5 to 70+ adults. He believes it is important to show his students the full range of what they can do with the guitar. He will tailor teaching methods to the needs of each different student. He has experience teaching grades, with more than 5 students who passed Trinity grade 8 with distinction and many other students who passed their grade 5, 6 or 7 with great results. When working towards grades Dimitar is methodical and that's how he gets these great results. About the lesson

I have twenty years of experience in teaching with great results and very happy students. I can teach from very beginners to most advanced pupils. My method adapts to the speed of each individual progress. I teach classical, acoustic, electric, folk. I can also teach you how to play and sing with the guitar at the same time.
