About Eleanor
Chemistry is often less about memorizing lists and more about observing how invisible structures dictate the behavior of our entire physical environment. Completing my BSc Chemistry at Johns Hopkins University equipped me to deconstruct stoichiometry and thermochemistry for learners who need a clear path forward.
I have spent 13 years refining my ability to explain organic chemistry, equation balancing, and periodic trends in a way that feels intuitive rather than mechanical. Admitting that I struggle to watch students miss easy points on stoichiometry due to minor calculation errors helps us focus on accuracy. I utilize a structured approach where a homework module is assigned with every lesson, ensuring that 151 students have reached their goals by practicing consistently. Because I possess 13 years of classroom experience, I can identify the specific moments where a student begins to doubt their own understanding of a complex reaction. We spend our time refining the balance between speed and technique to ensure that nothing falls apart under the pressure of a final examination.
