About Kierren
It's important to have a goal or a milestone to reach when learning about a new subject. After over 2 decades of playing, researching, diving deep into music I'm still constantly learning of new and exciting things about music. As a teacher, I wish to pass that excitement on. I've been playing guitar and piano for 20 years and in the process of learning these two instruments it opened up to learn other instruments within their families such as banjo, bass, ukulele etc. I've completed a bachelor's of music in composition and music production where I learned the craft of creating music and exploring a different side of music that's further than just an instrument. I think learning and sharing information is important to help the community grow.

During our lessons I take the well-rounded approach and build on the strengths and weaknesses. It's important to enjoy yourself so I ensure that it's interesting throughout our lessons by creating exercises or routines that'll help strengthen your skills. My goal is for you to grow and build on your skills and to help become a master in the field whether that be performing, production, Music Theory or just pure enjoyment. Typically lessons are between 60-90 minutes depending on the subject.
