About Diane
I'm a well-educated, professional person and lifelong learner.
I have a Postgraduate Certificate in TESOL and I am currently upgrading to a Master's Degree specialising in children's English language learning. I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Education. I have a first-class honours degree from ANU and a BA from Griffith Uni. I also have a Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE).
I have taught English in mainstream high schools across the Gold Coast for ten years and I am currently teaching young English language learners at a private school. I hold current QLD teaching registration and NDIS support worker authorisation.
I am a very warm, kind and patient lady who has two adult children and a grandchild. I hope to travel abroad to teach English to disadvantaged children in the future.

English as an additional language lessons for children 5-18. Small groups are negotiable.
Your child or teenager will enjoy learning English with me. I am a fun, warm and engaging teacher who has experience teaching children and adults.
My preferred methodology involves content-based instruction. I start with a topic they are already interested in so they can build a lot of confidence.
I recommend 1 hour per session.
