About Elisa
For nearly 15 years I taught GCSE and A level physics and chemistry, where I was known for demanding but fun lessons. I want all my students to enjoy science whilst also stretching to achieve your goals.
In my last post, my classes exam results, along with the whole science department, were consistently among the top results in a high achieving school.
Currently I am a doctoral candidate (published) at the advanced engineering centre, University of Brighton. In this post I am researching sustainable energy sources and advanced propulsion systems. I also tutor students on a range of mathematics for engineering modules.
I want to help you understand, enjoy and succeed in your science lessons!

I'm here to help you enjoy and excel in your chemistry and physics exams!
I am a published doctoral candidate studying sustainable fuels and advanced propulsion systems.
I am a qualified secondary science teacher with 15 years experience teaching chemistry and physics at GCSE and A-level with a record of supporting students and enabling success beyond expectations. I am also an hourly paid lecturer at the University of Brighton where I support students on mathematics for engineering modules.
I am available for GCSE physics and chemistry, and A-level chemistry. My remote sessions are typically 1 hour long and can be 1:1 or small groups. Sessions are interactive and supportive, I am here to help you achieve your goals!
