About Skye
Hi! My name is Skye and I have 3+ years of tutoring experience and over 1 year experience working in a secondary school.
Since working at a school, I have gained a good understanding of the struggles students face and methods to help them overcome these.
I previously studied a Space Engineering course at college, consisting of A level Maths and Physics alongside a Level 3 BTEC in Engineering and went on to begin a degree in Physics. Since then, I've decided that this path wasn't right for me and my experience working in the school has allowed me to realise I have a passion for helping others to reach their potential. I will now be starting a degree in Criminology and Forensic Psychology where I hope to learn more about rehabilitation with a focus on young people.

My lessons are aimed at secondary school students who need extra support in maths, this includes both KS3 and GCSE students. A typical lesson will last 1 hour but I can be flexible if alternative timings are needed.
I have experience working as a maths tutor in a secondary school and have a fantastic understanding of the challenges faced by students. Each lesson will be tailored to the specific student based on their individual learning needs.
I aim to make all of my lessons interactive and engaging with a focus of building confidence.
I am also able to work with SEN students who may need extra support or alternative teaching methods which can be discussed beforehand.
