About Anika
Hi! My name is Anika and I teach mathematics to elementary school students, including students with special needs. I love math and enjoy making it fun and understandable for every student. I attended a British primary school and an American high school, and I worked as a tutor and caretaker for children with special needs in Serbia and America, where I gained experience in adapting lessons to different needs and learning styles. My goal is for students not only to learn mathematics, but also to apply the acquired knowledge with ease and confidence. Lessons are tailored to each student, and can be live in Split or online, as agreed.

Hi! I'm Anika and I teach math to elementary school students, including students with special needs. My approach is based on an individual approach to each student, adapting the pace and methods to their needs and level of knowledge.
I use a combination of interactive tasks, practical examples, visual aids and games to make learning mathematics interesting and understandable. I also encourage students to actively think and solve problems, and when necessary, I offer additional support through simple explanations and repetition of the material.
Classes usually begin with a brief review of previous material, then move on to the new lesson through exercises and practical tasks, and end with a summary and homework or recommendations for additional practice. During class, students are encouraged to ask questions and actively participate.
I have worked with students of different ages and with special needs, which gives me flexibility and patience in approaching each student. My goal is to make math fun, understandable, and less stressful.
My classes are designed for elementary school students of all grades, including students with special needs or those who want to improve their knowledge and confidence in math.
