About Eva
I am a CELTA qualified experienced English language teacher, having taught English at universities in France and the UK, at a language school in Spain and as a private tutor online and in person. I am mainly focused on teaching English for Academic Purposes (EAP), which involves improving academic reading and writing, as well as speaking and presentation skills. I have taught EAP at the University of Southampton and Cranfield University on their pre-sessional courses. I have a first class bachelor's degree in French and Spanish from Durham University and I am about to finish a master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from University College London.

I follow a combination of the communicative and task-based approaches to learning languages which means that students learn by actually communicating in the target language as much as possible, as well as engaging in the tasks they want to be able to complete in their target language.
