About Gabriel

Nice to meet you! I’m Gabriel.

Welcome to O Feed da Nossa Vida, a theatre course built around presence, listening, improvisation, expression, and communication.

I’m an actor, educator, and researcher, as well as an Official Ambassador of the LED Prize, an initiative by Globo. I hold a Master’s degree in Performing Arts from Unicamp, supported by a CAPES scholarship, and a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre from UFRGS. During my academic training, I studied Humanities and Film at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, in Spain. I am also currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language and Literature at the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel).

Theatre beyond the stage

My work starts from a simple idea: theatre also happens in everyday life.

In O Feed da Nossa Vida, we work with presence, listening, spontaneity, improvisation, physical and vocal expression, confidence, and acting. The goal may be to develop skills for the stage, camera, or professional presentations, or simply to communicate more effectively.

I use affective memory as a creative tool, not as a form of therapeutic theatre. Sometimes, a small personal experience can become material for creating a character, scene, or narrative with greater spontaneity and believability.

Theatre can also be a space to explore different perspectives without having to reproduce experiences that are not our own. Creation begins with what each person brings and can then open paths toward new narratives.

Theatre as practice

Theatre is training. Just like learning a language or practicing a physical activity, consistency can produce different results over time. But a single class can also be meaningful: each student defines their own pace and goals.

My proposal is to create an artistic experimentation laboratory. We test ideas, improvise, make mistakes, rethink, and discover what works. The “explosion” here is creative.

Online theatre is still theatre

I teach theatre through Superprof, both online and in person. My experience with remote teaching is based on the understanding that a video call also requires presence, attention, and availability.

The screen does not eliminate the scene. It creates another space for it.

Throughout my career, I have developed projects with immigrants, refugees, people over 60, and young people in different educational and cultural contexts, using theatre as a tool for expression, communication, listening, and creation.

Artistic experience

As an actor, I have worked in theatre, film, television, advertising, and dubbing.

My credits include productions such as Mulher de Fases (HBO Brasil), Doce de Mãe (Casa de Cinema de Porto Alegre), Notas de Amor (RBS TV), Paralelo 30 (Prime Box Brasil), Parada 90 (Ulbra TV), Jornal Sensacionalista (Multishow), and 50 anos Show da Vida, from Fantástico, where I participated in a recreation of “Sangue Latino” by Ney Matogrosso.

In advertising, I participated in Google's international campaign, filmed in Uruguay and produced by Stink Films (UK) in co-production with Oriental Films (Uruguay), as well as national campaigns for 99.

I also provided additional voices for the video game Star Wars: Battlefront II, produced by Kiko Ferraz Studios for EA.

In theatre, I have participated in productions and projects featuring works by authors such as Anne Frank, Machado de Assis, and Simões Lopes Neto, as well as original and performing arts research projects.

Research and recognition

My academic research explores the relationship between theatre, dramaturgy, education, communication, and online practices, with a particular interest in non-actor performance and the development of expression through theatre.

In 2025, I was a finalist for the cRio ESPM Award, with a project related to the audio drama Los Ciegos (1890–2023), inspired by the work of Maurice Maeterlinck and developed with people over 60.

In 2026, I received a grant through ECOAR, a Co.liga and Fundação Roberto Marinho initiative, for the project A Hora das Estrelas: Jovens Narrativas em Abrigos Digitais.

I am also the creator of the audio drama series Voz para Cumaná, developed from testimonies by Venezuelan immigrants and refugees in southern Brazil.

What will you find in my classes?

More than teaching techniques, I want to create a space where each person can experiment with different ways of being on stage, communicating, and expressing themselves.

You don't need to be an actor to do theatre.

You may come because you want to act, overcome shyness, improve your public speaking, prepare a presentation, develop your on-camera presence, or simply try something new.

The stage can be theatre. The camera can be the stage. A video call can be, too. And sometimes, life itself.

Education: Master’s degree in Performing Arts (Unicamp), Bachelor’s degree in Theatre (UFRGS), Bachelor’s student in Spanish Language and Literature (UFPel), studies in Humanities and Film at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

Theatre for Life: A Moving Mirror

The theatre lessons I offer are a space for listening, creation, presence, and experimentation. They can take place online, via video call, or in person, in libraries, parks, private spaces, or other locations agreed upon with the student.

Above all, theatre happens through the relationship between body, voice, attention, and imagination.

The idea is to use theatre as a tool for noticing the different ways we express ourselves and communicate. After all, we are constantly adapting our voice, posture, behavior, and presence to different situations in life.

Theatre helps us observe these transformations with greater awareness and freedom, turning everyday experiences into material for creative work.

What are the lessons like?

Each session is an invitation to step out of autopilot and experiment with new ways of being on stage and communicating.

Theatre here is not only about performing “outwardly.” We also work on perception, listening, and presence to better understand what happens during the creative process.

You may explore:

Theatre Games, based on Viola Spolin;
Theatre of the Oppressed, based on Augusto Boal;
The Philosophy of Theatre, based on Jorge Dubatti;
listening and stage presence;
playwriting and scene creation;
physical and vocal expression;
character creation;
improvisation;
public speaking and confidence;
on-camera and audiovisual preparation.

Lessons are personalized according to your goals. You may have never done theatre before, or you may already be a professional actor looking to deepen your practice.

Who are the lessons for?

Non-actors: professionals, students, expatriates, executives, people over 60, shy individuals, and anyone interested in communication, creativity, and self-expression.

Actors and actresses: students or professionals looking to work on acting, character development, improvisation, scene reading, or audiovisual preparation.

Children and teenagers: age-appropriate activities focused on creativity, autonomy, expression, and communication.

What makes the lessons different?

Everyday characters
We explore the different versions of ourselves and the characters we construct in social relationships, transforming these observations into artistic material.

Actor direction and active script reading
We work on script reading, scene analysis, character development, and actor direction, including references from Brazilian cinema such as O Beijo no Asfalto (2018), directed by Murilo Benício.

In person or online
I also offer in-person sessions in private or public spaces throughout the Metropolitan Region, by prior arrangement.

Individual or group
Lessons can be individual or group-based, depending on the goals of the work.

Additional services

In addition to regular theatre lessons, I also offer:

acting preparation for film, audiovisual projects, and independent productions;
guidance for artistic projects;
consulting for professional or academic presentations;
pitch and presentation preparation;
communication and soft-skills development;
playwriting and screenwriting.

Theatre can begin on a stage, in front of a camera, or in a video call. What matters is discovering what we can create when we truly pay attention to the scene.
