About Afreen

I am a fellow at Teach for India, Delhi. Currently I am a teacher at government school in Delhi. I have completed my Master's in Modern History from Jamia Millia Islamia with first division distinction. I did my graduation in History from St. Xavier’s College. Teaching is something that I care about. I deeply believe that a society can only change with what little each one of us can contribute. It is the highest form of Social service that we can share with the world.

About the lesson

Usually history is taught in a very boring manner, thus, it creates a drift between the young generation and the old times. To excel in studies, one needs a teacher who is also a friend. The class will constitute deep meaningful real life examples making the student want to learn more.
