About Amy
My name is Amy and I am a third year Medical Student at Leicester. I have achieved consistently high marks in my examinations while at university, as well as excelling during my A-Levels and GCSEs (all A*s throughout). Additionally, I achieved a score of 3000 in the UCAT. I have extensive experience in tutoring other students at Leicester, and have also taken part in teaching courses such as Let's Teach to improve my skills. I am a highly driven and ambitious individual. During my University career I have achieved consistently high marks in my examinations, as well as excelling in both my GCSEs and A Levels- three A*s in Chemistry, Biology and Maths. Having achieved four offers to study Medicine in 2020 (Nottingham, Birmingham, Leicester, Cardiff) I believe that I would be well suited to helping prospective medical students prepare for their interviews, as well as how to apply strategically depending on their strengths. Additionally, I came from a school with a low progression to competitive degree courses, especially Medicine, and so I am aware of some of the unique challenges students applying to Medicine may be facing, and am able to offer support and guidance.
