About Lawrence
I am a third-year medical student with a strong academic foundation in the sciences, having achieved Grade 9s at GCSE and A* grades at A-Level in both Biology and Chemistry. My passion for tutoring stems from a genuine enjoyment of explaining complex scientific concepts on a one-to-one basis. I find it deeply rewarding to help students overcome challenging topics, build academic confidence, and develop a thorough, clear understanding of the subjects I am most passionate about.

As a third-year medical student with two years of experience tutoring GCSE Biology and Chemistry, I understand exactly how to break down complex scientific concepts into easy-to-digest parts. My lessons are typically one hour long and highly structured.
My primary methodology focuses on active recall and mastering exam-style questions. We will analyse real past papers together to unpack exactly what examiners look for, target any gaps in your knowledge, and build your confidence.
I adapt my approach to align with each student's specific academic goals and learning preferences. My aim is to help students build a deep conceptual understanding of the sciences, refine their examination techniques, and achieve their full academic potential.
