About Jamie
My passion for Chemistry began with my very first practical in Year 7 and has continued ever since. I’m now a third-year Pharmacy student with a genuine interest in how and why things work. Over the past two years, I’ve helped many students and friends with Chemistry, and I find it incredibly rewarding to see someone go from struggling with a concept to genuinely understanding it. I hope to share my enthusiasm and help students build confidence in the subject.

We’ll look at understanding the basics and how we link it into exam questions to maximise marks. Ask about a topic and I can teach you about it as well as tips and tricks for memorising content. Lessons will be interactive and I encourage independent learning and revision of content.

Details
Over the past two years, I have tutored multiple students and believe that £25 per hour is a fair and reasonable rate. My main motivation for tutoring is to support students and help them achieve their goals, rather than to make a significant amount of money from it. The rate reflects not only the time spent delivering each lesson, but also the preparation required to provide well-structured, high-quality and personalised sessions, as well as the commission charged by Superprof. Ultimately, £25 per hour ensures that tutoring remains worthwhile and sustainable given the time involved.
