About Tanmay
I recently completed my A-Levels at Tampines Meridian Junior College and will be enlisting for National Service next year. During this period before enlistment, I want to spend my time meaningfully by helping younger students strengthen their understanding of mathematics and build confidence in the subject. I enjoy working with children and younger students, and I value the patience, clarity, and encouragement that good teaching provides. Tutoring gives me the chance to guide students the same way my teachers supported me, and it allows me to pass on the habits and explanations that helped me do well in school. I have experience tutoring a Secondary 4 A-Math student for 4 months prior to his O-Levels, and I teach with a calm, steady approach that focuses on understanding rather than memorization. I am committed, reliable, and patient to support students consistently over the next few months before I begin NS.

I teach in a patient, steady way that focuses on clear explanations and helping students understand concepts step by step. Lessons are usually 1.5 to 2 hours, and I’m flexible if a student needs a bit more time. I’m also open to helping with homework or questions outside lesson hours.
I’ve tutored a Secondary 4 A-Math student before O-Levels. While I haven’t taught primary or lower secondary students yet, I’m willing to work closely with parents to follow the syllabus and prepare properly for each lesson.
I teach Primary and Secondary School Mathematics, and my lessons suit students who need confidence, clarity, and someone patient enough to guide them at their own pace
