About Jason
Hi, my name is Jason Dang. I’m currently sixteen years old and a student just like you, so I know what it’s like to learn challenging subjects and how to explain them in a way that actually makes sense. I’ve tutored many students and have a strong understanding of the common mistakes people make. I adapt my teaching style to help you truly understand the material—not just memorize it—so you can build real confidence in any subject you’re struggling with. Academically, I have a 4.375 GPA and have taken five AP classes, scoring a 5 on all of them. I’ve also won awards in business, math, and science. Outside the classroom, I play soccer, piano, tutor others, and hold a part-time job. I’m organized, patient, and committed to helping you succeed at your own pace.

My tutoring approach is student-centered and focused on active learning. Each session begins with you attempting the problem on your own. From there, I’ll guide you step-by-step through any mistakes, explaining how to approach the problem correctly and helping you fully understand the process. I use a repetitive, skill-building method to reinforce key concepts. My lesson plans are tailored to your needs: I’ll focus on the topics you struggle with most, while briefly reviewing the areas you’re already confident in to keep them fresh. I’m patient, a good listener, and committed to explaining each concept in the clearest, most understandable way possible—so you don’t just memorize it, you get it. My lessons are designed for students in 10th grade and below.
