About David

Hi, I’m David — a Scottish BAFTA-winning actor with over 20 years of experience in film, TV, theatre and voiceover. I’ve worked with BBC, ITV, Netflix, Sky, Universal, Lionsgate, AMC, NBC and more, both in front of and behind the camera. I’m offering 1:1 coaching for actors of all levels — whether you're preparing for drama school, sharpening your self-tape skills, or looking to deepen your craft. What I Offer: Scene Study & Character Work Self-Tape & Audition Prep ️ Monologue Coaching (Drama School) Industry Insight & Career Guidance Confidence, Clarity & Growth. My sessions are collaborative, supportive, and tailored to your unique style and goals. If you’re ready to push your work further and perform with confidence, I’m here to help.

About the lesson

My 1:1 coaching sessions are designed to demystify the audition process and help you build confident, grounded performances. We’ll work on connecting to character, breaking down scenes, and finding what makes you stand out as an actor. Whether you’re prepping for drama school, a screen audition, or just want to sharpen your craft, I tailor each session to your goals. We can focus on: Monologue and scene work Self-tape technique ️ Voice, character and emotional connection Confidence, instinct and industry prep Sessions are one hour, in person or online, and offer a collaborative, supportive space to grow. My aim is simple: to leave you feeling empowered, clear, and ready to deliver your best work. By the end of each session, my aim is that you leave feeling EMPOWERED, CONNECTED, and READY to show people what you're capable of.

After our first session I’m really excited to start working with Rafi ongoing. We’ll be diving into drama school monologues, self tape scenes, as well as acting mentorship and career guidance as he develops.

Rafi brings such a positive energy to the room, and it’s clear he has the drive for this industry. Just as importantly, he also has the patience and willingness to put in the hard work required for both his training and his career.

Really looking forward to getting properly stuck into the work with him.

Personally for me… After a year of not performing and not getting work it’s easy to get into a sad and worried mindset… David will take you right out of that and will make you feel confident and build on your strengths but also explore so many different ways of delivering one line or a full piece! Personally for me… After a year of not performing and not getting work it’s easy to get into a sad and worried mindset… David will take you right out of that and will make you feel confident and build on your strengths but also explore so many different ways of delivering one line or a full piece!
