About Sunayana

I have been tutoring now for over 5 years; I have always been interested in understanding how people think and how economic systems shape the world around us, which naturally led me to study and teach both subjects.

Alongside tutoring, I also work in a data-focused role. Working with data has strengthened my analytical thinking and attention to detail, which I bring into my lessons — particularly when helping students with evaluation, interpreting information, and structuring clear, logical answers.

I have experience supporting students with different learning styles and abilities, and I pride myself on being patient, approachable, and adaptable. My aim is to make complex topics feel clear and manageable, while helping students build confidence in their understanding.

Outside of work, I’m a creative and curious person. I enjoy exploring new places, trying new restaurants and experiences, and keeping up with cultural trends and current affairs. I think having interests beyond academics helps me stay balanced and relatable, and I bring that same open, positive energy into my lessons.

About the lesson

As a UK-trained Economics and Psychology tutor for GCSE, IB, and A-Level, I focus on helping students understand the material clearly and feel more confident in applying it in exams.

In our first session, we’ll talk about your goals, current level, and any areas you find challenging. From there, I adapt each lesson to suit your pace and learning style.

Lessons typically include:
• Clear explanations of key topics
• Worked examples and guided practice
• Help with structuring exam answers
• Practice questions with constructive feedback
• Revision tips and strategies that suit you

For Economics, I help students feel confident with diagrams, real-world application, and evaluation. For Psychology, I focus on understanding studies, research methods, and writing strong essay answers.

I encourage questions and discussion, and I aim to create a calm environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. My goal is not just improving grades, but helping students genuinely understand the subject and feel more confident in their abilities.
