About Jay

About Me – Your Drama Tutor With a strong foundation in drama from HNC to BA Honours degree level, I bring years of hands-on experience in theatre, performance, and directing (including multiple musicals!). As a fully qualified secondary school drama teacher currently running a drama department in West Dunbartonshire Council, I specialise in Nat 5, Higher, and Advanced Higher tutoring. I offer tailored support to help students excel in exams, hone their acting skills, and prepare for auditions and practical assessments. Whether it’s theory or performance, I’m here to guide you every step of the way!

Practical & Performance Coaching: Whether it’s a monologue, scene study, or audition prep, we’ll cover everything from character development to voice and movement, building your confidence to perform at your best. Personalised Feedback: Each lesson, you’ll get constructive feedback and tips for improvement, helping you make real progress towards your goals. Our sessions are supportive and flexible to your needs—whether you’re preparing for exams, auditions, or just want to take your drama skills to the next level!
