About Layba
I am an International student at La Trobe University, currently doing masters in Educational Leadership and Management. During last year of my Bachelors, as part of academic assignment, I undertook an internship that required me to reach out to under-privileged regional areas and teach basic banking procedures, also involving use of Mobile Banking Applications. For this one month on-field teaching assignment (16 teaching sessions), I had successfully completed three main teaching areas; planning, execution and assessment for about 30 students(in two groups). Furthermore, I have experience in teaching accounting subject to Grade - 9 students, privately and in group.

My teaching method is "cooperative learning" in which I Encourage students of mixed abilities to work together by promoting small group or whole class activities. However, my teaching approach is "differentiated learning" by which I focus on individual needs/ problems of a student. For this, I assign academic activities according to students’ unique learning needs, means individuals with higher academic capabilities are stretched and those who are struggling get the appropriate support.
