hello! thank you so much for clicking on my page. My name is Jules and I am a huge advocate of changing up learning styles to try to find which technique works best for the learner. I mostly work with students in middle school, high school, and underclassmen in university. In the 1st session, you can expect some questions about what types of study styles have previously worked or what has not worked, what your goals are in working with a tutor, main concerns with the course, and creating a realistic schedule that is maintainable for the learner. In later sessions, we will open with what the learner is hoping to achieve in the session, any specific questions or areas of concern they had, and then get right into the learning! I like to have discussions with the learner about the subject we are working on and will ask them critical questions to ensure that we are understanding each other. at the end of every session, I like to have the learner give me a quick summary of what they learned and teach me as teaching others is one of the most effective ways to comprehend information. thank you for your time and looking forward to chatting!
