About Eason

Hi!! My name is Eason, I have achieved AAAB in my A level, I am currently a year 3 student at University College London studying an integrated master course in Pharmacy, currently predicting to be graduating with a 1st. My course teaches university-level chemistry and maths, therefore there will be no problem for me to teach anything up to A level. I am from Hong Kong, where I have spent around 10 years learning the basics, and ever since then, I have been studying in the UK from year 7-13 (completed GCSE and A Level in the UK) and now in university. Therefore I am very familiar with the course. Since I have been studying in the UK for almost 10 years, I am fluent in English and Cantonese, I have also completed an IELTS exam and have achieved 7.5. Additionally, I understand safety can be an important concern for parents, so I have also undergone an enhanced DBS check to reassure parents. For tutoring experience, I have been employed as a teaching assistant at EOK academy in Hong Kong from June to October in 2019 and 2020. During this time, I have made hundreds of exam-style practice questions from past paper to help students study, made summary notes to help students revise and also personally tutored some students in year 7-11 in GCSE level maths and chemistry. I have also taught some students from age 7-11 in the basics in maths, which I believe are fundamental to their success in their academic future. One of the best tutor I could ever ask for. Was struggling with GCSE sciences (chemistry especially) because teachers in school don't teach in a way that I understand. Got so much help from Eason and started to understand the causes of things rather than just merely memorising facts. He made me enjoy learning sciences when I thought I never could! Eason is an engaging tutor, always there to help. His method of teaching is very unique. Each class, he will revisit majority of last lesson’s content. He will make sure you master the skills required for each topic. He also pin points your weakness, focus on those and make sure you don’t freeze up in the exams. Overall, he’s a great tutor.
