About NDUKA
I have been tutoring Math for over 20 years. I started tutoring as a means to help students in my family overcome their fears of Math. As a college student, my Math professors often referred struggling students to me for Math assistance.
I have had the privilege of helping many students overcome their fear of Math and achieve their goals. My students have ranged from students with a poor foundation who need to get foundational issues addressed and get on track with their current Math classes to students who want an enrichment program to stay on top of their classes.

My lessons are very interactive and requires a lot of student engagement. I start my lessons generally trying to understand what the students need help with and providing them with some foundational knowledge. Along the way, I like to test students' knowledge on what we have covered starting with guided problem solving and eventually expect students to be able to complete problems independently.
My tutoring philosophy is that relationship building with the student is integral to the success of any tutoring engagement so I spend time understanding the student's needs and offering different potential approaches to help them arrive at a solution. As a Math tutor, I also believe in teaching students different approaches to solving Math problems, where possible.
I tutor students from Elementary level to College Algebra level.
