About Florian

About me: I am Florian (19), I come from Villingen-Schwenningen and I got my Abitur in 2017 (average 1.0; 15 points in mathematics and physics; several awards, including the Ferry Porsche Prize) with the advanced physics courses (4th Examination subject) and geography. During my school days, I took part in various competitions (including the Federal Computer Science and Mathematics Competition at the University of Konstanz). I have been studying mathematics and computer science since the winter semester 2018/2019. Where ?: I offer private tuition in the Villingen-Schwenningen area, which can only take place via webcam and screen sharing due to the current situation. My goals: In tutoring, in a relaxed atmosphere without stress, my main concern is to close gaps in the learning material, to eliminate possible ambiguities from class or during tasks, and to significantly improve your understanding by activating mathematical thinking. With this restructuring of thinking, the focus is not on the solution, but on the way to why the ideas and concepts can also be applied to previously unknown types of tasks and thus offer the most success in the long term. I stand by you with my patient manner and help you to understand complex relationships in an understandable way. In order to make the lessons as efficient as possible, we start by discussing your current status, your school goals and the subject areas and exercise priorities each hour. Course of the lesson: First we clarify the definitions and theoretical bases in order to understand the subject area, before we then get to know and apply possible methods and concepts in a common example. Then you will gradually work through more difficult tasks, in which I play a supporting role and, if necessary, provide ideas or discuss the task with you. Finally, I ask questions of various levels of difficulty to ensure that you have internalized the material.

About the lesson

In the subjects of mathematics and physics (by arrangement also in other subjects) I have been offering regular tutoring and exam preparation for more than 2 years immediately before exams. If you have any questions, please send me a message.
