About Ariana
Hi my name is Ariana but I go by Ari! I am currently a sophomore at Yale University studying biochemistry and working in a biophysical chemistry laboratory hoping to publish soon! I currently have one publication! In high school I self-taught myself almost all my AP courses to the rigor needed to receive a 4-5 on all 9 AP tests. I understand the struggle of learning at a different pace but also know it's possible! It's not about being 'smart' but clearly about hard work! I am excited to work with people of all levels :)

Lessons will be 30 minute to 1 hour sessions on Zoom. Everyone learns at their own pace and lessons will be designed to model your learning speed. Understanding concepts rather than brute problem solving will be emphasized. I will share my strategies for achieving a near perfect SAT math score (790/800). College essay sessions will consist of sharing my story for my Ivy League acceptances, both early action and regular decision as a non-legacy, low-income student. I will be more than happy to review essays, brainstorm, and discuss stats!

Ariana is an amazing math tutor! I was enrolled in AP Calculus this year and I had trouble grasping most of the material that was taught. When I started taking lessons from Ariana, she explained everything from the ground up. Now, I have an intuitive and concrete understanding of calculus, which helped me get a 5 on the AP test.
