About Beth

I am a veteran teacher with over 20 years experience. I have 3 licenses with the State of NY in Early Childhood Education, Gifted and Talented, and School Administration. I graduated New York University as an undergraduate and as a graduate. I will devise a program to meet your child's individual learning needs and style. My approach is skill-based yet hands-on keeping children challenged while providing them with the nurturing guidance they need to succeed academically. I will instill a good work ethic and give them confidence in their approach to learning in school.

About the lesson

My approach is grounded in using your State Standards to design lessons that will reinforce the skills outlined by your school district. I will go over grade level skills with web activities and engaging worksheets. I use integrated science and social studies curriculum plus fun educational games as a means of hands-on instruction. I am a strong believer in inquiry based techniques, as well. I'll make your child into a confident student and practice their writing skills and math computation. This will enable them to succeed in their future endeavors. In addition, I will communicate with you, the parent or caregiver, on a regular basis insuring we are all on the same page.
