About Syed Omar
Ok, so my name is Omar, I am an undergraduate student at the University of British Columbia. I am majoring in Applied Biology and working at an immunology-based research lab. Over the course of my academic journey, I have achieved the gold cord for excellence in academics in high school. Been on the Dean's Honor list at UBC for 3 years back to back. I am also the recipient of the international undergraduate student scholarship for academic prowess. Lastly this year I have also achieved a super competitive research-based scholarship for working in my lab. I look forward to seeing how I can help you with whatever your goals may be.

I will first review what you want to learn over a week and make sure I can develop an easy way for you to understand the concepts. Next, we will go through the major players or topics in your lesson and eventually add details slowly. I will try my best to give you real-life relevance to topics because that is the best way I learned for MCAT. I will keep quizzing you on things I have explained to force repetition as much as possible. If you are not satisfied or have not met your learning goals from me we will take as long as it takes as I value quality of service. I can teach anatomy and physiology up to an undergraduate level. I can help you in Microbiology up to a second-year university level. I will be able to cover all high school biology courses including any lab techniques. I can help you with basic algebra and arithmetic up to a high school level. If there is anything else that would like me to help you with I can take a look at it and let you know if I am up to the task or not.

Excellent! Some of the Strengths of my tutor are is that he explains concept in a more thoroughly to the point where they could start making connections with the material. Sayed is a very patient person, and I am quiet excited to have him as my tutor.
